Ashley Dixon
Miss Virginia International 2009
Did
you know that recycling only one glass bottle saves enough energy to power a
100-watt light bulb for 4 hours? Did you
know that out of 30 billion plastic
water bottles that Americans purchased last year, 26 billion will end up in
landfills? These are just a few of the
facts that make it so important for each of us to be a positive influence on
our environment.
As Miss Virginia International, Ashley is working to educate, inspire, and empower today’s youth to protect the Earth through recycling and environmentally focused activities. She is doing this as a National spokesperson for Kids for Saving Earth (KSE), a non-profit organization that aims to help kids make a positive impact on the environment.
